On a hot summer day late in the afternoon you are greeted by a couple at your front door. They are new in town and need a place to stay. Because you believe “what’s yours is theirs” you welcome them with open arms. They promise as soon as they find a place to stay they will be on their way. Days turned into weeks and weeks into months and they still have not found a place to live. But remember “what’s yours is theirs”. Late in the night you hear a noise coming from your children’s bedroom. Entering the room you find the couple has done unspeakable things, things you could have never imagined and as you scan the floor you see your dog in the corner with his mouth taped shut. But remember “what’s yours is theirs”.
Do not expect me to give as a country what you are not willing to give as a family!
YOU GO FIRST!
