thinking out loud . . . .

I have been thinking about my mother who has poor management skills with money. At a young age my sister and I had to decide what clothes we wanted while standing at the register with our mom. There was not enough credit on the card so we had to pick, there in front of everyone. It was an awful feeling. I’m not sure I can explain the magnitude of having a mother who was and is so reckless.  After I started working I would often keep money in my drawer only to come home and find my mom had taken some. As individuals it is our responsibility to make good financial choices. Doing so shows respect to God, your husband, your wife, and your children.
